WHL:  Kamloops (8) @ Spokane (2)

The visiting Kamloops Blazers scored five straight first period goals and cruised to an 8-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs. Nathan Behm, Kayd Ruedig and Rhett Ravndahl led the way for the Chiefs with two goals each. Ivans Kufterins got the win in goal making 41 stops.

U20 SM-sarja:  Kiekko-Espoo (3) @ Lahti (4)

The game was played in Espoo, where the visiting Pelicans were the better team throughout the match. Even though Kiekko-Espoo had some stretches where they were more active and pushed the pace, it was only enough for one point. The team from Lahti presented an active, fast-skating style of hockey and deservedly worked their way to the win.

WHL:  Penticton (6) @ Victoria (3)

This game was essentially decided just two minutes into the second period, when Penticton exploded for three unanswered goals in the opening minute. That surge made it 6–1, and although the Royals mounted a late push in the third, the momentum had already swung too far in Penticton’s favor to change the outcome.

WHL:  Prince George (2) @ Portland (6)

The home town Portland Winter Hawks got very good goaltending from Ondrej Stebetak who made 33 saves on 35 shots in a 6-2 win over the Prince George Cougars. The Winter Hawks had five different goal scorers but it was Alex Weiermair leading the way for the with a goal and two assists while Jordan Duguay chipped in with three assists.

OHL:  Brantford (7) @ Flint (0)

Although the 7-0 score might suggest a blowout, this game was tied 0-0 until under 4 minutes left in the second period. Both teams saw chances through the first two periods an the play was back-and forth. Once Brantford opened the scoring, the flood gates opened and they scored one more goal before the end of the second and added 5 more goals in the third period.

U20 Nationell:  Rogle (3) @ Linkoping (4)

Linkoping HC U20 narrowly beat Rogle BK U20 in Stangebrohallen 4-3 in a tightly contested matchup, capitalizing on balanced even-strength scoring from seven different skaters. Rögle dominated shots 31-17 and power-play opportunities, but Linköping’s defensive structure and timely finishes secured the victory with a lone goal in the third period.

QMJHL:  Saint John (6) @ Cape Breton (4)

This high scoring game saw the losing team, Cape Breton, jump out to an early 3-1 lead late in the first period. A costly late penalty from the Eagles combined with four unanswered goals allowed Saint Johns to climb back in the game and secure the win.

OHL:  Saginaw (2) @ Guelph (3)

This entertaining early season game turned into a goaltending duel down the stretch. Shurygin from Saginaw and Jovanovski in the Guelph net traded saves down the stretch and ensured the game went to overtime. Leo Serlin scored in OT to cap the win off for Guelph.

U20 Nationell:  Lulea (1) @ Skelleftea (2)

Skelleftea AIK J20 narrowly took the win over Lulea HF J20 2-1 in a gritty, low-event game where defense ruled and chances were hard to come by. Both teams scored their lone goals in the second period before Skelleftea ultimately won in the shootout.

OHL:  Sarnia (3) @ Owen Sound (7)

Sarnia Sting vs. Owen Sound Attack It was an explosion of goals in the first two periods for the Attack, who came out flying against the Sting. Led by a hat-trick from #40 Tristan Delisle and a balanced effort throughout the lineup, Owen Sound took control early and never looked back. The offensive surge powered them to a 7–3 victory, a strong showing on home ice.

U20 SM-sarja:  Ilves (3) @ Tappara U20 (2)

A derby between the two Tampere teams was watched by 1050 spectators, and we could see a very even game in which Ilves eventually claimed the win after a shootout. The opening phase of the game was better from Tappara, who were listed as the home team, but as the game went on, it became more balanced, and in the third period, Ilves looked like the stronger side.

WHL:  Lethbridge (0) @ Brandon (7)

Lethbridge @ Brandon, October 25, 2025. This score does not necessarily tell the whole story. The game was even in shots on goal and Lethbridge did have some great chances to score. the difference in this game was goaltending, and Brandon’s execution on their chances and opportunities. The game was broken open in the third with 4 goals for the Wheat Kings to walk to a big win.

U20 Nationell:  Vaxjo @ Orebro

Linus Hagerman is a tall, athletic goalie with good size and puck tracking. He is able to hold depth, absorbs shots to kill rebounds, and steers low attempts to corners while handling rims calmly for easy exits. Offensively, Victor Plante has emerged as the team’s most consistent producer, leading in both points (16) and goals (8), while defenseman AJ Francisco anchors the back end and leads the team with 12 assists, ranking second overall on the team in points. Sammy Nelson joins Plante with 8 helpers and is tied with Francisco with 13 points overall.

WHL:  Kelowna (1) @ Tri-City (3)

This game was pretty scrappy after whistles with many scrums, Tri-City had lots of powerplay time and controlled the pace for the most part with the amount of powerplays. 5 on 5 was relatively even, but both goaltenders played very well and kept this game tight until the end, with Tri-City sealing the game late with an empty net goal.
