Lien is a 6'3 finesse forward who had an excellent goal in this game showing his creativity with his shot to beat the goalie with an off-speed change up, showing his ability to finish in tight. He seems to be still growing into his 6'3 frame with his first step and overall skating ability lacking. He had a few turnovers from over stickhandling in traffic rather than using his frame to protect the puck.
