Austin Prep Hockey is a tradition-rich, highly competitive program committed to developing student-athletes on and off the ice. With a culture built on discipline, character, and relentless work ethic, Austin Prep emphasizes player development at every level while competing against top programs in New England. The Cougars combine structured skill development, high-level coaching, and a team-first mentality to prepare athletes for success in prep school hockey and beyond. Anchored by a supportive school community and strong academic foundation, Austin Prep Hockey strives to cultivate leaders who excel athletically, academically, and personally.

Blaise MacDonald ('81) — currently head hockey coach at Colby College
David E. Nelson ('81) — A standout defenseman whose senior-year leadership helped Austin Prep capture its first league championship; his jersey (No. 10) remains the only retired number in Austin Prep sports history
