Jan Krupicka

Long right winger standing at 6’2’’ and 180 pounds. The left-shot Czech forward scored eight points (three goals) in nine games for HC Sparta Praha U20 in the Czech U20 League. He played in limited games during the past year due to Covid. He is a big strong forward that has a strong lower half. He is tough on the puck and is able to battle through traffic. He isn’t fast but is tough to slow down once he gets to top speed. He will need to work on his quickness and agility. He drives the puck wide and uses his reach and strength to muscle past defenders. He is strong along the boards and rolls- off pressure well below the dots. He has a big shot and a quick release. He gets to the slot and has some touch around the net. He has average hands and can make some plays. Needs to improve his handle at speed. He keeps it simple at times and gets pucks deep and gets in on the forecheck. He isn’t overly physical but uses his body well to create time and space. He has the physical tools and if he rounds out a few areas of his offensive game could have a high ceiling.
