Thirteen players from the 16/27 Player Development Camp were selected to join the U18 Selects camp and will will round out four team for the week. A number of 4+ Star Rating players were a main invite to the camp, 11 of them have committed to Division 1 schools, and 5 have previously made the USA-18 roster the previous season. This preview consists of 4 star and higher rated players that we believe should be on the radar to make the USA team along with the short list of U16/17 players that were added from the Player Development Camp.

She is physical and will take you to the boards.”

NZ Scouts say: “Coming out of her own zone, she moves the puck up swiftly and is always tape to tape. She would put herself in positions to make the best possible exit out of the zone and then execute the plan. In the offensive zone, she made excellent plays to the net. And showed that she is a gamer who wants the puck on her stick in crunch time at the end of the game. When she was weak-side D in the offensive zone and the puck neared the blueline, Goldsworthy would step out and to the middle to support her D partner when she was trying to hold the line. Smart consistent play from her.”

She’s in absolute control of her skating and showcases shifty footwork along the blueline and the ability to stop/go and change directions on a dime with the puck. Under pressure she also showed excellent escapability. She’s quick and elusive, paired with her vision and puck patience, she is an offensive threat anytime she’s on the ice. Her passing is precise, and she rockets passes to her teammates tape.
