When December comes to New England, we are gifted with the start of the Prep School Hockey Season. We have been keeping a close eye on all scrimmage/jamboree play, and it is now time for regular-season hockey. Our first poll covers the top teams from games played up until the 7th of December. We will be giving out a poll weekly as we combine in-person viewings by several scouts with overall records and JSPR.

NZ Prep Game of the Week: #4 Kent at #3 Salisbury; Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 PM
#4 Kent at #3 Salisbury at 7 pm should feature a rowdy and large crowd for the Knights. Kent has two goalies they can play, both Dunlay and Ranawat have some size, are athletic, and have started hot. 2008 Will Schlechtweg has 10 points already after a 17-point campaign last season, and Cornell commit Jack Broderick is close behind with nine points and a ton a snarl to his game.
Salisbury has reloaded with talent from Canada and the USA. Riverview, NB native Zach Gill, late 2009 Devin Cokinos are newcomers, and returning goalie Jordan Rittenberg have played excellent hockey early. Salisbury may be the most intriguing team in NE Prep as we all wait to see how the new players mesh together with the returners. They have a lot of high-end talent. This game has all the makings of a classic.
