This was such a close game in more aspects than just the score. Other than overtime, both teams scored all their goals in the second period, had equal number of shots, and both scored a special teams goal. A costly mistake in overtime allowed Prince George on the power play and they took full advantage.
A bit of a low scoring and low energy game that had Calgary out to an early start, scoring the first two goals of the game. Brandon made a push, but the sound defensive game from the Hitmen tonight proved to be too much for Brandon to overcome.

Val d’Or Foreurs started the game ready to go. Scoring three goals in the first and three goals in the second. They capitalized on their chances that were given to them early on in the game. Despite being outshot in every period, the Val d’Or Foreurs did a good job at creating higher-quality scoring chances.
The Kelowna Rockets played an excellent playoff hockey game, holding the visiting Kamloops Blazers to just 17 shots, resulting in a 3-1 victory. Vojtech Cihar scored twice, the first one opened the scoring in the second period on the power-play with his second into an empty net. Tij Iginla also had a goal and an assist. Harrison Boettiger was very steady in the Rockets goal, making several key stops early in the game for the win.

Prince Albert controlled the pace in this game, they had sustained pressure for the majority of the game and ran into a hot goalie. Regina had limited chances throughout the game but were able to score first late in the game, on an opportunistic play. Prince Albert brought the pressure for the remainder of the game scoring late in the game to tie it up. Both teams had some chances in overtime, both goalies played well in overtime, before Prince Albert sealed the win in the shootout.
In a game that was technically a meaningless game 68 for both teams, the visiting Penticton Vees beat the Kelowna Rockets 5-0. The Vees scored twice in the first period on goals from Ethan Weber on the power-play and Mateo Dani’s. That was followed up by goals from Doogan Peterson, Diego Johnson and Brittan Alstead to round out the scoring. Ethan McCallum got the shut out win in the Vees net.
Tight game in first period 0-0. London broke it open in second period with 4 goals. Last game between these two teams was very physical and some suspension still carried over. Guelphs PP struggles at 16% and never capitalized on there opportunities. Better game than score dictated.
Despite the score, this game was a lot closer than it suggests. It was an explosive third period that the Blazers were able to put together that really opened this game up. Before that, both teams traded goals that turned into a one goal game. The difference was the top players for the Blazers showed up.
Red Deer scored four goals in the first period, literally winning the game in the first twenty minutes. They sat back the next two periods, providing half the amount of shots and offense and played a real defensive style structured game. The Hurricanes provided a late push towards the end of the third period, but it was just too little too late.
Neutral Zone was in attendance for this USHL matchup between the Waterloo Black Hawks and the Chicago Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena, in Geneva, Illinois. Chicago defeated Waterloo by a score of 3-2. Notable performers on the evening included Timo Kazda (CHI) who posted three points (1G, 2A) and James Scantlebury (CHI), who netted the game winning goal, on the powerplay, with just over six minutes to play in regulation.
The first playoff game played in Lahti saw the home team Pelicans slightly better in the first two periods, but the visiting team HPK was more productive. In the third period, HPK took control of the game and deservedly secured the win.
The hometown Kelowna Rockets played a solid 60 Minutes, resulting in a 4-1 victory over the Kamloops Blazers. Goaltender Harrison Boettiger was good when he needed to be early on making several key stops. The Rockets got goals from Tij Iginla, Shane Smith, Keith McInnis and Mazden Leslie. The loan Blazers marker came off the stick of Josh Evaschesen.
After going down three goals to one in the third period, the Sherbrooke Phoenix found a way to claw back and dominate the next two periods of this game. A bit of a late start for the Phoenix after the Sagueneens top line did some real damage, but they were able to shut them down and create some momentum themselves as the game went on.

This is such a close game that needed overtime and a shootout to decide the winner. Both teams went scoreless on the power play, showing a defensive effort throughout the depth in each of their lineups. This game was about who was going to break first, and unfortunately, the Broncos early penalties created some momentum for the Warriors and they capitalized on that momentum, but more importantly, were able to sustain it throughout the game.
The visiting Victoria Royals were no match for the Kelowna Rockets on this night as they were down 4-1 after one period and 7-2 after two with a final score of 9-2. Tij Iginla again led the way with a goal and five points, while Shane Smith added two goals and singles went to Hayden Paupanekis, Keith McInnis, Ty Halaburda, Mazden Leslie, Owen Folstrom, and Rowan Guest with his first goal of the season. Goaltender Josh Banini made 28 saves to earn the win for the Rockets.
The close game with a ton of offense, with over eighty recorded shots on net, both teams traded chances back and forth. With four different goal scorers from the Everett Silvertips, it was the depth of their team tonight as to why they were able to come away with a win.
Goaltender Burke Hood made 18 3rd period saves, 38 total, leading his team to a 4-3 overtime victory over the rather listless hometown Kelowna Rockets. Tobias Tomik scored the overtime winner while Joe Iginla, Kaleb Hartmann, and Colton Gerrior had single goals. The Rockets got goals from Tij Iginla, Ty Halaburda, and Vojtech Cihar.
