Scouting Report – Madison Capitals (12/31/19)

Reid Pabich is a guy we would love to have as a teammate. His energy and compete are evident on every shift and it is obvious that Madison looks for him to set the tone. He has three assists in tonight’s match, but he was making a positive impact on the game whether he was getting points or not. Reid blocks shots, plays the body and creates chaos as an ultra quick F1. He back checks with purpose and has his head on a swivel. His attention to detail makes him a very effective penalty killer.

Apples and Casey Severo – a Scouting Report

Casey is uncommitted at this point, but we do not see that being the case for much longer. While he may not have the flash or showmanship of some other big name prep prospects, he does play a pro styled game right now. He is smart, abrasive and does not cheat. He is a reliable low forward in the defensive zone and in the transition game Casey always gives consistent support for his defensemen. Casey is the type of player who will earn the coach’s trust and quickly turn into a guy who is tapped on the shoulder during key game situations.

Scouting Report – Noah Ellis

NOAH ELLIS He has played in some high level games for his age group, gone to National Camps and done well and even played Internationally at The Hilinka, but he has only played about 65 games heading into this season. This is a plus for us because he has shown rapid development in a short time and is obviously very athletic. We feel that by Christmas Noah will have taken a huge step and we are looking forward to our next viewing.

USHL – Waterloo Blackhawks NHL Prospects (12/6/19)

Xander has always been strong with in an excellent compete level and he continues to have soft hands around the net with a rocket of a shot when the opportunity arises. But where we are seeing the biggest improvement to his game is his skating. He appears to have a more explosive first step and he is now able to lose defenders while rolling off the wall on a cycle. He remains un-committed, but we feel he will have college coach’s eyes on him as we head into the new year because of his professional approach to the game, his combination of strength and high level of compete and his ability to play in every game situation.
